“If you think something, you give it life.”  You know it’s true.   Letting a thought ramble through your mind, dwelling on something that has happened, and/or writing or speaking something will bring the emotions and energy of that thought come to life.  It will overshadow your day.  It will guide your decisions and refocus your energies.

I struggle with this daily.  If I did not consciencely put an effort forward every morning to think of something positive, my days would be spent drowning in negative thoughts, pity and frustration.  I would find it difficult to smile, to enjoy any aspect of my life.  Depression would be a daily partner.

So every morning I start the day with a inspirational or motivational though and share that thought through out the day.  I sing a fun song in the car on the way to work.  I find something that day to look at and really smile or giggle about.  It’s a job;  it’s a routine; it’s necessary.

I’ve been writing this blog for a while now.   Please let me know what you think.  Having a difficult time finding a reason to continue.
