Let your light shine

candleHow far that little candle throws his beams!

So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

By : William Shakespeare

A small candle can light a whole room!  The light may be dim but it is light.  An act of kindness, a happy thought, a simple smile produces a beam of light in this “naughty world” as Bill puts it.  Let your light shine.  Even if the “naughty world” is in your mind, a beam of light can brighten the way and give a moment of peace.

    Yay! So true.
That guy is wonderful! Did you know he was actually Francis Bacon writing under a pseudonym? The first publications of his plays reveal that he wrote his life story in a cypher. It is fascinating. He had to keep his true life story a secret to protect several people’s heads from rolling. However he wanted the world to know about it eventually so left the clues to be found. You can read about it all in The Shakespeare Code. I think the cypher was decoded in the 1950s and the book was recently written.
They pasted copies of the plays on an enormous roll in order to read the secret message encoded throughout all the plays.
His other writings, written under his real name often referred to cyphers. That was the first clue that the researchers followed.
He was the first son of Elizabeth I of England. She had two. Each were fostered out to different couples. So Francis Bacon was in fact the heir to the throne but his mother never acknowledged it.
