Fix that Attitude

The best way to knock the chip off your neighbor’s shoulder is to pat him on the back.

Other people’s attitudes or “chips” can cause great pain.  I used to let them make me feel inferior or broken.   Now I try to accept who they are, pat them on the back knowing one day the light bulb will come on.  But more important, I try to not let them hurt me.  I am not inferior.  I am different, yes.  But so is everyone else in one way or the other.

My take on it is that everyone we meet is a mirror of who we think we are.
It is very useful to observe others in our sphere and then attempt to change that part of ourselves that they are reflecting back to us. It’s very useful, but not easy and not easy to be hurt.
Apart from EFT, which you know I am a fan of, I also use Ho’oponopono (I hope I have the spelling right). It’s about changing that within us that causes the other to behave in that way. I wrote about it here in case you’re interested
