The Power of Thought

the mindArgue for your limitations and, sure enough, they’re yours.

– Richard Bach

I debated for a long while on whether to call this “Limitations” or “The Power of Thought”.    Though the two are closely related when it comes to our quality of life, you can see which title won.  “The Power of Though” encompasses the jist of this post with more precision.  After all, we are what we think.

We can make ourselves successes or victims just by what we think.  Have you ever met the person who always has a smile on their face, is kind and helpful and luck seems to follow around?  This person has made a conscious effort to be in a positive frame of mind.  Positive thoughts and actions attract more positive energy.

negative thoughtsConversely, I’m sure you also have met the person who never seems to smile.  Depression looms at every corner.  And bad luck seems to greet them at every turn.  For most, the decision to smile or have something positive to say, could change the negative bubble they are in and break the seemingly never-ending chain of negative energy.

I have always believed the mind is an amazing thing and an enormous responsibility.  Being human gives us the ability to shape our lives through the power of thought.  We can think our lives into positive and rewarding adventures.  All we have to do is use the power we have been given by our maker and focus on the positive.

positive thoughtsSo I invite you, if you’re not already doing it, to join the ranks of positive thinkers.

Smile and have something positive to say.

Be kind and helpful to the other beings living on this earth.

Put some positive energy out there and you will be pleasantly surprised with the positive returns.
